Here are the boys up at the forty. It was our vacation over the 4th of July. Chad and I along with my cousin, Christian, had a blast playing in the woods and the meadow. Riddick per usual ran ahead of us whenever we got close to the creek. He just loves it!

Since there's no running water, or internet going to the cabin is truly roughing it. But we did have our laptops and Chad was able to connect them so that we could play Dungeons & Dragons. I am sure that I got on the boys nerves since it was the first time I played. Christian was really enjoying learning the game and so did I (though I know I loose major best friend points for being such a little gamer).

It was a great week. We all practiced shooting, but I didn't try Chad's big gun. I'll have to work up to that. We used Uncle Pat's old wood bow too. It was fun even though my arrows went all over the place. We'll go back up for the Labor Day weekend. Hopefully we'll get a chance to work on Chad's hunting stand. He wanted to make some improvements to it this year but we haven't yet gotten to that.
